Prepping for Fashion Week

Prepping for Fashion Week

Only a few more days until Berlin Fashion Week and I’ve got a thousand things on my To Do List… Honestly,  will I ever be able to tick them all off? – Probably not. Am I trying my best to tackle at least all of the major tasks – hell yeah!

After I spend a lovely Birthday on Monday with my family and friends, reality has me back. Too bad, a daily life just doesn’t consist of flowers, presents, an excursion to Europe’s longest chain bridge and fancy dinners at your favorite Italian restaurant, isn’t it? Actually, this is exactly what I did for my Birthday. I love this day to be packed with action and excitement. Instead of a calm day at some spa place, I like to go climbing, zip lining, horseback riding…you know stuff like that! The older you get, the faster time seems to go, so I try to enjoy every minute of it, especially on those days.
Prepping for Fashion WeekThis week though is full of Fashion Week prepping. Not only do I have to put together some awesome Looks to show you afterwards but since I’m attending Fashion Week with one of my clients, there is loads of planning ahead involved. Apart from that, I have to organize next week’s content for the blog and I think I’m gonna finally shoot another YouTube video for your guys, so stay tuned (: … Also I need to plan 3 short trips for the coming months. One with the boyfriend (no clue where or how long, we want something more quiet and not so crowded), so if you’ve got any advice on great short-trips, hand them over to me, I’d be really grateful ♥ Another trip that requires some planning is a girl’s weekend getaway to Florence, so excited for this one! My Mom and I were also planning on spending a little vacay together, nothing super fancy, it’s more about the quality time.

Being a freelancer is pretty amazing, you can be super flexible with your work schedule and most of the time the work you do is fun. But on those weeks, where you work for only one client, it’s a bit difficult to accommodate a number of things at once. This means working ahead a lot and planning my time carefully. Hey, I’m not complaining, it’s just to give you a little insight of what my work routine looks like… If you’ll excuse me, I need to make myself some strong coffee and get started on all these To Do’s!

HOPE YOU HAVE A RELAXED START INTO THE WEEKEND

Aber auch hier gilt: First come, first served!
