Give your Clothes an Upgrade: Mom’s Vintage Jeans

Vintage Mom Jeans

I’ve been experimenting with my clothes a lot lately. I get bored by my wardrobe quite easily, especially if they are rather basic. When this happens, I become creative! One of those outcomes is this pair of Vintage Mom Jeans:  I cut a thin line on the booty part, to make it more exciting and give it more of a destroyed, laid back style.

Before I grabbed my scissor though, I looked up various platforms for inspiration, mostly Pinterest, to see what fits my taste and mood, and this is what I ended up with. Easy AF and done in a second! I know it takes a bit courage to cut off one of your beloved vintage jeans/tops etc. but for the most part, I don’t regret it at all. It’s a good way to save money on new clothes and being creative on your own wardrobe is really fun, especially if people ask me like ,,love the detail, where is it from?” – I mean, what else are you supposed to do, when you gotta save up money, but still your wardrobe needs an upgrade?! 😛 … As you know, I’m always up for mixing styles, which is why I styled this rather destroyed look with an elegant current favorite of mine – a checked blazer. I linked the pieces, I’m wearing down below! Do you like to give your clothes an upgrade sometime, too? Would love to know whether and how you personalize your wardrobe! ♥

P.S. Heading to Barcelona with my Mom tomorrow morning, soo excited! It’s been so long, since we went on vacation together. I try to keep you updated as much as I can via Instagram, so make sure you check out the stories and pics for some mother-daughter-craziness
