I’m back in the game! – sorry guys for being so inactive last week…I’ve been to Norway for a work-related trip with one of my clients. I really needed this trip to take some time off for myself and fully BE THERE. If you’re a keen follower, you know that I tried my best to update you via Instastory though – thank you again for your lovely comments and reactions!♥
Even though it was work related, I had the best time in the middle of snowy nowhere. My boss rented this modern wooden cabin via Airbnb and it was a dream come true. I’ve always dreamed about spending a few days somewhere in the mountains with tons of snow and a fireplace to keep warm. This was it – a wonderful short winter retreat!
I gotta admit, the journey had a bad start with my flight being cancelled 10 minutes before take-off…I called the airline and changed my flight to the evening, but a 10 hour layover in Berlin Schönefeld airport, which is old and small, is not the most convenient way to spend your day 😀 Anyway, me and my colleague made the best of it with burger, sandwiches, books, wine and more food…by the end of the day, we were drunk and happy. Around 10pm we met the other work buddies in Oslo airport and drove around 3,5 hours to this little town, called Hemsdalen, where the cabin was located. The coming days were just super chilled, an awesome mix between work & team building. Gin nights included! After I got back, I had problems with my phone… but I’ll tell you all about the trip and struggles in my upcoming Vlog, so stay tuned 🙂
If you guys never tried Airbnb homes, try and register via this link and you’ll get 30 EUR off your first trip! Pretty dope, aye?
Do you like this sort of mini vacations? And how about this cabin?
